lifesprout technology

LifeSprout’s Regenerative Matrix (RM) platform is a breakthrough in materials technology. These composite materials are made from chemically-defined, biocompatible, biodegradable building blocks. There are no animal or cell-derived constituents. Yet RM products look and behave like living tissues with natural feel, elasticity, and resistance to deformation. They achieve these goals while retaining an open, porous structure that mimics extracellular matrix. The RM platform provides a powerful basis for standalone tissue restoration and for cell therapy.

Biomimetic

Analogous structure to Native Tissue

RM offers the simplicity and scalability of a fully-defined synthetic system while mimicking native tissue architecture. Its fibrillar-like architecture closely resembles that of native fat extracellular matrix (ECM) and similarly enables host cell infiltration.

Biostimulatory

encourages Vascularization, Cell Attachment and Survival

The Regenerative Matrix outperforms existing hyaluronic acid (HA) hydrogels by offering immediate volumization with biostimulatory capacity for durable, natural restoration. The RM material facilitates host cell ingrowth and vascularization. This biostimulatory phenomena is in stark contrast to standard HA gels which are too densely crosslinked to host cellular activity.

Proven Science

The foundational science behind LifeSprout’s technology has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals including Science Translational Medicine and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. These publications demonstrate the capacity of the Regenerative Matrix to promote natural tissue restoration.
